De werkgroep krijgt hierbij steun van de Stichting Welzijn Midden-Drenthe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Het paadje moet het wandelen en fietsen langs het water mogelijk maken. Daardoor worden onze dorpen en buurtschappen weer met elkaar verbonden. Ook zal de te restaureren brug over het kanaal mooi te bezichtigen zijn vanaf dit paadje. Het is de bedoeling dat het paadje gaat aansluiten op bestaande recreatieve routes. De gemeente is in onderhandeling met de grondeigenaar. Men hoopt deze zomer een positieve reactie van de gemeente te krijgen, zodat met de aanleg kan worden begonnen.
